Design/Drafting Services

By careful consideration and open, honest communications during the early planning stages you will be able to enjoy the planning stages knowing that all the details have been discussed and everyone needed to produce the results on site will all fully understand what needs to be achieved.

We need to take a broad view of the entire house when considering designing the new works. You want to ensure you maintain a liveable layout whilst remaining sympathetic to the homes' existing unique features and character.  Changes are challenging but exciting at the same time.

The initial design drawn up can be modified as further thought and discussions take place.  The final design is then drawn up as Working Drawings, these have all the relevant details needed to actually build the project.  Working drawings are also required for any Council approvals, Buildung Permit issue or Engineering details.

Fees for Design/Drafting or Architectural services vary, depending upon the size  and type of the project.  We can give you a rough guide as to the costs and length of time this part of the process will take once we have a better understanding of the work required and the eixsting site conditions.  Costs can vary from $500 to more than $5,000.

Impressions are happy to provide a quotation based on plans that you may already have had prepared by your own drafting service.
